Things don’t always go to plan

In my coaching, I help my clients set up systems and processes to automate their business. It’s a healthy baseline to have to ensure that their businesses are operating efficiently.

BUT I also think it important to talk about the fact that no matter how prepared you are, no matter how many systems and processes you have in place, no matter how ahead of time you prepare things… there is always a chance that things don’t go to plan.

In these instances, you will need to double down and work really hard. Sometimes, it just has to be done.

This recently happened to me.

I have been working HARD to launch my agent tool kit letter packs and blueprints for agents, by an agent.

Pretty much every element outside of my control, did not go to plan. Arrrgh!

But this was not the time to throw it all in the bin. There was no starting again, it was time to double down.

One of the most valuable pieces of advice I could give to anyone is to build a team.

A team that has the same vision as you, the same beliefs and are passionate about what they do.

Know that when things go left instead of right, you don’t have to do things alone.

The team I work with rallied, we changed the game plan and we worked REALLY hard to make sure we achieved our end goal.

There were 2am messaging conversations, early and late team zoom calls and lots and lots of doubling down and pivoting.

We kept our focus on the end goal and were all there to support and pull each other through and achieved what we needed to do, even better than what we originally planned.

Sometimes things go wrong, so that they can go right.

It’s also important to remind you that if and when this does happen, not to beat yourself up. Things go wrong, they always will. It’s a matter being aware that they could, having ways of handling things when they do and having a team of people that you can rely on when they do.

Thanks team!
